Tahini Sauce

From refresh, the cookbook of the Fresh restaurants in Toronto.

2 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup parsley, chopped
½ tsp. salt
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2/3 cup water
½ cup tahini

Whiz garlic, parsley, salt and lemon juice in a blender or food processor. Add the water and sesame butter. Run until smooth, scraping the sides down once or twice.

Note on Nutrition information below: 4 servings is based on the recipe for Green Goddess Rice Bowl, but no one in my family actually likes that much sauce on that meal. Also, you may use less sauce if you are using it for salad dressing, etc. Finally, while the nutrition calculator at sparkspeople.com is the best one I know of, they sometimes get things very wrong.
