Nutritional Information being added to recipes

You may have noticed that on some of the older posts, there is a nutritional label that appears as a graphic at the bottom of the post. These were generated with the recipe calculator at Sparkspeople.com, which is linked on the sidebar to the right. I’m calculating the nutritional content of recipes for Week One right now, as a part of updating it for spring, because I want to lighten it up while I am at it. All of this cooking  and recipe testing has made me put on a few pounds, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who would like to shed a little winter weight.

So look for a leaner spring week coming up, maybe in a few days. It might take just a little longer than that; we’ll see. The nutritional content is being added to the existing recipes right now, as I’m doing it.

Update: I am no longer using Sparkspeople. Some of the information was really wrong, and I’ve switched to another site. The link has been updated.
